I'm trying to lose weight, all over - but my stomach is the biggest problem?!

Question:

I'm trying to lose weight, all over - but my stomach is the biggest problem?

I'm trying to lose weight by developing an overall healthier lifestyle. I've done many things to change my eating habits - my diet consists of mostly fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean meats and water for drinking...and I have started working on increasing my activity levels.

I know that once I start losing weight, it'll come from my whole body.. i have about 60lbs to lose!

My stomach is the biggest problem. It has more fat than any other area of my body I've heard that you cant 'spot' diet (lose weight in a specific spot) .... but when I lose weight - will my stomach eventually even out with the rest of my body? Or will it always stay a bit bigger???

Answers:

everyones body has favorite fat reserve keeping places and yours is your belly.
when you start losing fat you will lose fat. period.
you will notice it first in places that have the thinnest layer of fat (your face) and last in places that have the thickest layer of fat (your belly).
the less body fat percentage you will have the less fat on your belly will be.
