Healthy - Too Fat or Skinny?!


Question: Healthy - Too Fat or Skinny!?
I'm 16
Weigh between 59kg-60kg
Bust - 33inch
Waist - 27inch
Hips - 34inch

Size 10ish in clothes (depends on shops)
I still feel I'm too fat although I've lost alot of weight in the last 6months (about 1 and half stones)

I must sound like so many other girls on here, wondering if I'm too fat or too skinny, btu I'm not happy with how I look!.

I exercise alot - go to the gym, jogging & dnt really over eat (about 1500 - 1800 cal!. a day)

so:
1) Am I healthy (with my weight & mesurements)
2) Do I sound too fat in YOUR opinion
3) Anyways of losing weight!?

How tall are you I'm guessing 5'5
Attractiveness isn't a simple matter of having a certain fat percentage so don't fall into the idea that loosing weight is going to turn you into a swan (not suggesting that you aren't attractive)

1) You sound it but lacking a picture and height I can only tell so much

2) Since your waist is 27 you don't sound fat

3) Best way to lose weight is from exercise not restrictive eating as that tends to rob your body of vital nutrients and being constantly hungry makes you grumpy whereas exercise can be made fun (get friends involved) and makes the heart and lungs stronger and can even teach you new skills like taking up a dancing class or make you a decent tennis playerWww@Answer-Health@Com

Im 16 also and I have the exact same dimensions as you and I reckon its okay :] I used to worry about counting calories and working out until it hurt but then I realised lifes too short! Of course, I still work out to keep healthy, but I dont cry if I have a greasy burger every so often :P You're 16, you should be out enjoying life (before the wrinkles set in lol) instead of worrying about your weight!. You're deffinatley not fat, but you're not scarily thin either, enjoy life, go and have a chocolate bar :PP Take my example and don't worry, its normal, but a waste of time :]]]Www@Answer-Health@Com

Please, do not try and lose more weight!! I understand you are not pleased with how you look but it's not the wrapping paper but what's inside the parcel that counts!!!!! Too much emphasis is put on being skinny and it doesn't look nice! I agree with the view that if you are healthy and active, you shouldn't need to worry about calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1) Need your height as well as weight, but you sound fine to me in terms of measurements!. You sound more like a size 8 than a 10 (but maybe that's because you didn't measure around the bum for the hip measurement)!.
2) Are you kidding, no way! A 27 inch waist is only fat if you are like 4ft6!
3) No because I don't think you need to lose weight!. Just tone up if you feel flabby!. And check out your body fat %!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Is that UK size 10, or US size 10!? (Big difference!)

You sound like you have the dimensions of someone in their late teens or early 20s!.

It would depend on whether your weight is distributed evenly (which is reads like it is), as to whether you are a little fat or just normal (which I think you are)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i say: keep working out and jogging, and stop counting calories!. eat what u want- u deserve it if u work out regularly and take care of your body!.

i think you sound like a healthy weight, but weight dosen't mean much to me it's how healthy and if i think i look in proportion!.

i'm sixteen and i can relate to you there is too much pressure on teenagers to look think and i have done things in the past i'm not proud of to loose weight!.

i think you should keep up your exercise and eat healthy but a girl your age should be eating around 2100 caloreis a day, and remeber to let yourself have a treat every now and again or you will get sick of it and will be more likely to give in!.
