Exercises for a Beach Bod?

I really need to lose about 40 pounds and I want to do it as fast as possible but I don't know what exercises to do and how many of them to do. do any of you have an intence work out that really helps? I'm really serious about losing this weight so if your just going to tell me that weight loss should go by slow then please don't answer I just really need to lose the weight. thanks =)

heya i know how you feel.
well firstly cutting back your calories to around 1000 to 1200 thats like fruit for breakkie whole grain salad sandwhich for lunch and steamed veg and skinless chicken breast for dinner.
then drinking HEAPS of water more than 8 glasses.
green tea is also good for metabolisim.
now the excercise: running and fast pace walking on soft sand is great for your legs,butt and abs.
then going for bike rides and jogging.
add a little weights in there just some dumb bells to tone up your arms. cardio is so great for your body
to start off, walk fast pace then you will be able to build up longer running times and you wont be short of breath.
excercise whenever you can like during the add breaks in television programs and doing crunches weights lunges etc.
repetition wise do your weights lunges crunches etc around 2-3 sets of 10 and then work your way up.
and get in at min 30 min cardio a day weather thats going for a long walk (fast pace) or sprints then fast walk sprints etc.
remember get your heart rate up and drink heaps of water.
tips: buy a pair of jeans 1-2 sizes too small and aim to fit in them or every pound you lose treat yourself with something like a massage or hair done, also a good motivator put the amount of money you would buy on fast food and watch the money rise.
this has worked for me and ive kept the weight off for a year now.
