well my question is that I also want to tone up, should i wait till i get to 125 or should i start now? thanks

Answers:

Losing 9 lbs would still keep you in a healthy weight for your height. This is how you get an approximate weight for your height. At 5' you should weigh 100 lbs ( give or take ) for each pound above that add 5 lbs. Other determining factors would be your activity level, metabolism and what you are comfortable with. So 125 lbs is a reasonable weight for you. You are young so eat healthy ( skip Micky Dees and soft drinks ). Remove carby foods like candy, cake, bread even fruit juices are to sugary for a healthy diet. Stay away from potatoes and rice. Replace them with healthy vegetables like cauliflower, asparagus, spinach ( sorry ). Avocadoes and bell peppers are excellent substitutes for fruits especially since they are superior food choices. Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and cantalope all fall under the superfood list. Eat large breakfasts ( afterall, you are breaking a fast your body needs to rebound from that ). Have an average size lunch and a small dinner. In otherwords, eat like a king for breakfast, a prince for lunch and a pauper for dinner. Get some kind of exercise program going, do not sit in front of the tv or play video games.I lost 10 lbs every summer just by being in the marching band and changed nothing about my diet. However, if I was more nutirition savvy, I would have had a better diet.
