Do you really gain weight before you lose?!

Do you really gain weight before you lose?

i have been working out for 3 days now, i haven't gained weight so to speak but the scale isn't budging at all....one day it'll be low and the next morning it's 1 pound higher then yesterday. i do alot of cardio, 40-50 minutes and i have been trying some tae bo on every other day. i'm sore so i know i worked myself good on the treadmill. i'm heavy so it will take some time. i also have changed my diet completely, no more fast food, soda, or candy....i've been eating a crap load of veggies and fruit. so do you really gain before you lose, because of muscle mass?

you might be gaining muscle, so yeah, probably muscle
