Which dietary plan should I follow?!

Question: Which dietary plan should I follow!?
I am trying to lose some weight, but I don't want to do a fad diet!. The reason is because most of them don't work and if they do, you lose the weight but then you gain it back times 2!. That being said, I have 2 options I've been pondering!. I tried doing one more restrictive, eating only a small breakfast, a protein drink for lunch, and a very small plate at dinner, but my cravings afterwards eventually wore me down!. Lately, I have been eating more, but healthier more natural foods, but also the things I like, in moderation and not as often!. After all, I guess I'm going to have to eat now how will the rest of my life!. I have also been getting exercise and drinking more water!. Of course the more restrictive diet would produce results faster, but which is better and which should I follow!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You should probably not follow the restrictive diet, unless you want to be miserable!.

Losing weight is not a one or two week deal!. It takes time!. If you go on the strict diet, then you'll be more apt to gain the weight back, as you said earlier!.

The second diet you mentioned is more of a lifestyle change, which will keep you in shape!. The strict diet is more of, well, a diet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to make a change for life!. Not just want to lose some wight now that you might regain!.
Make smaller changes every week starting with some exercise such as maybe walking and eating more greens!.
A little bit at a time will make a big difference in the end!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try to

Eat well but only when hungry and not more than thrice a day!. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%!. To have more satisfaction out of ur food, Chew each morsel at least 32 times!. This will also activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness!. Obey these signals!. Do not go on fast or starvation diet!.

Nothing other than water in between!.

No special diet, call it by any name or program helps as one cannot adopt them on permanent basis!. Diet pills are chemicals and per se bad and shud be avoided unless the doc considers it necessary looking at ur condition!.

Take light exercises and brisk walks for 30 min!.regularly preferably on empty stomach and twice a day!.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time and hassle free!.

Be patient and not in a hurry!.

U cannot choose spots for reduction!.

This schedule can be adopted on permanent basis to lead a healthy life and maintain weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Keep a food diary

For at least five days and up to a week, keep a pen and paper handy and write down everything you eat, how much, where and when you ate it and who you ate with!. try to write it down as you eat it!. Most people find that when they try to remember everything at the end of the day, they leave something out!. I have also had clients tell me that they didn't eat something because they knew they were going to have to write it down!. Be completely honest with yourself!. You don't need to show anyone the results, but most will be very surprised by them!. Particular environments and people can often trigger certain eating behaviors that are redily apparent when you use a food log!. free fitness journal/food log!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, you can go with Weight Watchers OR you can change your lifestyle and go with an effective diet!.
The "secret" to losing weight is simple: eat small portions and work out a lot, along with water!. If you're not doing that now, what makes you think you'll do it effectively regardless of whether or not it's a "fad" diet!. By the way, "fad" diets do work if they have a scientific reason for working!. For instance the true low carbohydrate diet that cuts way back on junk food and forces you to eat lots of protein and veggies is what has been deemed a "fad" diet but it works exceptionally well for most people!. Some have problems with it but the thing is, this diet has a scientifically proven reason for working!. I've actually lost over 40 lbs on it myself!. What usually happens is that most people abandon the diets (of all kinds) and go back to bad eating habits and poor exercise routines!. THAT is when the weight gain occurs!. It's not the diet that brings the weight back, it's the person going off of the diet that was effective in the first place!.
