after my arms get big and i use all the weight i can, do you think i should switch to high reps-low weight?

I think that would be a good idea.
Your bulking phase would be complete. At that point, you will obviously have the mass, so it would be good to sculpt definition into them.
In my opinion, arms with mass plus definition, shows how much discipline you have with your workouts.
