Your heart and lungs are quite important muscles, so exercising them, makng them stronger, is good!.

It also burns calories and fat, and tones up your body!. It increases blood supply to the brain making you sharper and more alert!. It tires you out so that you sleep better at night!.

So, yes they're right, do more cardio!.

You see massive blokes at the gym who do an hour on the freeweights but no cardio at all, they are crazy as they are putting strain on their hearts by lifting heavy weights, building up their body mass, thus putting more strain on their heart, but not actually excercising them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cardio exercise is any exercise that will increase your heart rate (moving your arms while walking also helps to increase your heart rate)!. Examples: walking fast,jogging (if your knees and back can tolerate it) elptical machines are awesome, riding a bike also awesome, aerobics, stepping and jumping on a trampoline, swimming, etc!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
