My diet...?!


Question: My diet!.!.!.!?
In the morning, I don't eat anything!. If I do, it's maybe once a week, and just a piece of pizza!. I go to work at 5AM, and take my first break at 9!. I drink some water on my break - Maybe a diet soda (Which starting tomorrow, I won't do anymore!. Water only), then I go back to work!. At 12 I get a lunch - I usually don't eat anything!. Just drink water - I only eat things if I'm on a 'diet' and it requires me to eat something!. [As you can tell, the diets aren't working)

Then I get off at 5 and go to the gym till 7 then go home!. I usually make some frozen dinner, take a shower, and go to bed!. I do construction for a living - I sweat all day long, and feel exhausted!.

I weight 273 lbs, and am 6'2", yet I can't lose the weight!.!.!. Why!? People say it's because my body is in 'survival' mode, and fears burning any calories!. How can I fix this!? I don't really have time to make huge fancy meals with 6 kinds of veggies, yada yada!.!.!. Any alternative!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Whoever told you that your body is in "survival mode" is right!. At best, if you are drinking one Slim-Fast and eating one frozen dinner a day, you are consuming somewhere between 400 - 700 calories, which isn't enough for anyone, nevermind someone who does your kind of physical work AND goes to the gym!. You don't need to do anything fancy!. Just eat real food, and real portion sizes!. For breakfast (and yes, you MUST eat breakfast) try a PB&J on whole wheat with a banana, some cereal with milk, or a yogurt and a piece of fruit!. Lunch - try a turkey sandwich on whole wheat with mustard, lettuce & tomato and an apple, or a quick salad from McDs even (just skip the fries!)!. Dinner can be a piece of lean protein (chicken, fish, steak), some veggies (nook 'em) and a starch (90 sec!. Uncle Ben's brown rice will do the trick)!. See, nothing fancy, but just plain healthy!. I just went through this with my hubby - he dropped close to 20 lbs in about 3 months just by starting to eat real food and hitting the gym a couple times a week - nothing crazy!. First of all you need to eat healthier meals!. Yes there are meals you can make fast that will help you loose weight!. Try to avoid frozen meals!. Yes frozen veggies are ok, but not the pizza and the Hungry Man meals and such!.

For breakfast you can eat Special K (not just for the ladies)!. Then for a snack you could eat a piece of fruit!. Lunch, a few ounces of chicken breast, without eating the skin! For snack, some veggies!. Dinner, fish!.

You CAN loose weight! Keep a positive attitude!. Some weeks will seem that you lost a lot of weight, while others none at all!. It is ok!. Just keep trying your best!.

Eat in porportions!. It is proven: When you eat, don't watch tv, read, or do anything besides eating!. When you distract yourself from anything but eating your food, you eat more than you should!. That mean more calories, thus leading to weight gain!. Also, eat on a small plate and load it with food!. This concept actally is phycological "trick!." Your mind is thinking "wow that's a lot of food" and you seem to eat less than you would prevusly!.Try it!

Make sure you eat breakfast! Essential to loose weight! Your body actually needs food to loose weight! Eating 8 almonds a day help you loose weight and are very nutritious!. Try eating around 6 small meals instead of 3 big meals!. This will boost your metabolism!. Drink plenty of water!. Try to cut out any soda or juice!. Even though juice has many nutritional vitamins, it is packed with sugar! So much it is as sugary as a soda! You can get your vitamins from other food sources or by taking a multi-vitamin!. Cut out high salt in your diet!. Salt makes you retain water!.

You have to eat food just because you don't eat does not mean you will lose weight follow this diet plan !.
Try doing 10 to 20 minutes exercises per day and eat the following foods that you like a person on a diet should eat 1,200 calories a day !. Eat the following this helped me!.
Breakfast: 2 pieces of wheat toast with low fat topping and a cup of orange juice or low fat milk!.
Lunch: One slice of any fish or Meat but one slice ex!. from a chicken eat the leg cook this with no salt and not fried in the kitchen with no oil only water and lemon and pepper!.Or eat a plat of salad lettuce, tomato no dressing only little bit of oil and vinger!.
Dinner eat in proportions a little bit try to count calories on the things you eat!.
I would recommend to also see a doctor to discuss a diet plan for you !. A diet won't really help you go to the gym or run a little at night or when you have time not eating won't help you lose weight exercises will but you have to eat something otherwise you'll faint and may get hurt especially since you work in construction you can get hurt!.
