If I skip meals...?!

Usually I start getting hungry during the break between breakfast and lunch!. But I've been sick lately (I just got off the flu) and I've had like no appetite!. I haven't eaten anything today because I throw up if I have one of my normal meals!. Not purposely, I just can't keep anything down!. The weird thing is that I'm not hungry!. Is that just because I'm sick!. And is it really horrible if I skip meals or just pick at my food for a week!? I know I wont die, or anything!.

And I'm probably going to lose two or three pounds!. If I gradually ease back into my normal diet (which is pretty healthy), will I gain all of it back or just some!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The exact same thing happened to me just about 3 days ago and i still dont have a normal diet!. I would say eas your way into it because you do want some food to be in there!. What i did was drink a very small amount of water, so i wouldnt be to dehydrated with out throwing it back up!. Slowly eat honey nut cherios, and if that still stays in move to something else, if you want!. After i was completly sure i wasnt gonna throw up i ate romen noodles, which worked great!. I drank sprite, along with water and i was fine, and still didnt gain back any weight!. If you wanna gain back the weight start eatting more, if u wanna keep it off slowly work your self into it!. So far i havent gone crrazy over eatting, and alowed my body to adjust!.Good luck and feel better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, unfortunately you will gain most of it back!. See, your body goes into starvation mode if you skip meals (even just one a day) and so your body stores fat in starvation mode because it thinks that you're beginning to starve all the sudden!. Once you ease back into your normal diet, starvation mode will be turned off (which is good) but you'll get more weight back on simply because you're eating more!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah, you will lose some, but onces you start eating again, you will gain it back!.

thats not bad at all! theres a reason ur body doesnt wanna eat its cause its getting healthy and doesnt need the food!

When I had the flu, I lost about five pounds!. When I eased back into my regular diet, I gained it all back!.!.!.that's healthy and normal!. Skipping meals is horrible for your body because it keeps you from getting the nutrition you need!. However, flu is an exception!.!.!.you don't want to gulp down a full meal!. When I am ill, I use the "B!.R!.A!.T!." diet!.!.!.
B!.!.!.!.bananas
R!.!.!.!.rice
A!.!.!.!.applesauce
T!.!.!.!.toast
I find it very effective!. While recovering from the flu, ease back into your diet slowly!.!.!.have a portion of your meals one day and more the next!.
