Answers:
you can't turn fat into muscle
people say you can but you cant
its like saying you can turn metal into wood
theyre two completely different substances

however
you CAN build muscle and lose fat at the same time and being overweight has its advantages here believe it or not

you probably pack a lot more muscle than the average 6'2'' guy because your lifting more weight everyday so your muscles will have adapted to allow this
at the end of the day muscles grow by lifting weights - theres no rule that says this weight must be an iron weight on a bar

what you have to do is lose the fat whilst maintaining/building on this core you will have underneath it all

im 6''0' and when i first started at the gym i was 210-220 pounds so im kinda proof it can be done!.!.!. im not massively muscular but im bigger than your average guy to the point where people notice - so i cant really say do this it works if you want to be massive - i can just tell you what worked for me to get to the size im at!.!.!.

you want to do cardio AND weights - dont do all cardio then start to work on building the muscle because you will lose muscle and make more work for yourself

with muscle there is a saying 'if you dont use it you lose it'
when you lose weight there will be less resistance on your muscles so dont allow them to shrink

do 20 minutes of cardio at least 3 times a week and really push yourself - i dont mean sprint if you can only manage a brisk walk - but push yourself to the point where your just struggling

20 minutes of intense cardio is more beneficial than 40 minutes at a moderate pace - and at just 20 minutes your body is less likely to go into a catabolic state (breaking down muscle tissue)

after your cardio you should lift heavy weights - try not to do everything at once - one day work your chest and the next time work your arms and the next time your shoulders etc

dont try and do everything all at once because the muscle actually grows when its resting and this can take up to a week

you should lift enough weight to squeeze out 8-10 reps
if you can do 11 then its not heavy enough

and as for diet
cut out the junk
sweets, burgers and fizzy drinks are a no no

i eat wholegrain porridge for breakfast instead of sugary cereal and i try to eat as much protein as possible
tuna & chicken are great sources or lean protein and you can also buy supplements such as whey protein to add to this - muscle cant grow without protein so make sure you eat lots of it!

sorry for writing such an essay! but i hope it helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to lose the fat first! Than work on building muscle, let me explain why!. In order to lose fat you have to BURN MORE calories than you eat!. In order to gain muscle you have to CONSUME MORE calories than you burn!. You see you can only effectively do one OR the other you nor anyone can do both at the same time!. If you try to you will only become frustrated and quit becuase its impossible!. That being said you must find some weight loss resources online there are plenty, you can find everything you could possibly want to know online about fat loss!. Or you can buy a book and read it either way you need to learn everything you can becuase its a long jouney that only few people succeed in!. GLWww@Answer-Health@Com
