Question: How many lbs is ballys free weight bar!.!?
Answers:
the one at the gym itself!? If you're talking about the "olympic" bar that goes in the squat racks or on the bench press/shoulder press stations, it's about 45lbs!.
I say "about", because most gym equipment is scrap-grade metal (not kidding), and they don't take the time to make it exact/balanced!. The tolerance is about +/-10%
Same goes for the weight plates!.!. so a 45lb plate could weigh anywhere from slightly over 40, to nearly 50!
Why!? because calibrated sets are expensive as hell!. a competition line Eleiko set will run you about $4000+
If you're ever buying home equipment, bring a good scale with you, and weigh your plates!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
