Start immediately!. It is helpful to join a marathon training group---it's great for motivation, structure, and discipline!. Not sure how long your marathon is, but you'll want to run at least 5 miles every day in the beginning!. Make a training schedule that you can stick to with gradually increasing intensity!. Consider joining a local running club too because for a lot of people, the hardest part of training is consistency!. Running clubs and organizations have great resources for the beginner to professional (gear, practice events, tips, etc) and you'll meet great people to keep you motivated!Www@Answer-Health@Com
