Hi Ally, You're still in your teens and still growing. So it's necessary to eat well...Don't worry too much about gaining weight now, because eventually it will return to what you need. You might notice that you put on weight faster than you lose them. That's because that's how your body is made, that's how the hormones in your body is right now. You can only get a slim lady-like figure after 16 or maybe even 18. However, here's what you can try: 1) We all love junk food. Just ensure we cut down on it and have it ONLY when we're hungry and avoid having junk food when watching TV cuz it's proven that you don't have control over how much you're consuming when you do that. 2) Get involved in sports. Badminton/tennis, swimming and cycling are some that really helps. 3)Plan out a diet & exercise schedule for yourself. Be disciplined enough to stick to it. E.g : the things you'll eat for the week and the foods you'll avoid for the week, and a timetable of which days you'll do some exercise...on days that you don't want to play games, how about dancing (even in your room) and taking a 30-min walk everyday. I promise this works cuz i'm doing this now. 4) Never EVER starve yourself. It makes you eat more later. Starving and dieting are two different things. Make sure you eat just enough, about five times, within intervals and NOT over-eat,3 times a day. The more times, the better, just eat a little each time is the idea. 5) Drink loads of water, atleast 6-8 glasses a day. This helps you clear out your system and helps digest the food too.

I'm doing all of this and sometimes it isn't easy but it's worth it. You can see the difference. Golden rule is to stick to it and discipline yourself. And believe that it will work. Keep a DAILY record of what you eat and how much you exercise.

So, Ally, we're in this together. I'm working on it too. Let's go for it...!!!!! :-) - Jessie (cousellor) silverlininghope@yahoo.com....... me if u need me.....
