Could drinking two diet sodas a day make you gain weight?!

Question: Could drinking two diet sodas a day make you gain weight!?
Just wondering!.!.!. I drink one or two diet Hansen's a day (on an 800 calorie diet) and was curious if some magical force in the sodas could make me gain weight!.

I know they might cause water retention but with a lot of water and a healthy diet, it's impossible right!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
The sodium might make you retain water but otherwise, the diet soda won't make you GAIN weight!. That's ridiculous!. And people need to be very aware of the way things are phrased!.

The synthetic sugars are harder to break down and they don't give your body the energy it needs!. So in a sense, they do take some calories to metabolize but only negligibly!. Same goes for the syrup they use to give sodas their color!. People look at calories and think that's all they need to watch!. It's about one's metabolism!. Which is easier to digest!? Sugar (carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen) which is metabolized quickly or synthetic products that natural evolution did not face until the last half-century!?

"Letsgo" is quite wrong on a few notes:
1!. Kilo-cals are different from calories!. One kcal is equal to ONE THOUSAND calories!. 800 kcals is 800,000 calories!.
2!. How many calories one takes in is irrelevant to whether or not a substance makes you lose or gain weight!. They are, for her purposes, unrelated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Um you need to talk to someone who isn't on yahoo answers!. 800 calories a day, wow, that is NOT healthy!. Worrying about diet sodas and the five calories they contain, again NOT HEALTHY!. There is A LOT more to this life to care and worry about than your weight, and you seem to put far too much value on being thin!. I don't know you, but I'm pretty sure you need to get some counseling to adjust these negative ideas about weight before you stop eating altogether, or attempt other dangerous means to maintain an unrealistic and unhealthy body weight!. Go get a burger, and laugh more!. Quit weighing yourself more than once a month, it isn't worth it!. Who cares if you go up or down a pound or two, no one else in the world but you does!. BTW you are NOT on a healthy diet at 800 calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

800 calorie diet!? !.!. That is unhealthy, and if I was you I would be more worried about the unhealthiness of that, then of your two diet sodas!!

Diet soda is worse for you then regular soda !. Just because it had the word diet in it, it doesnt defeat the fact that it is soda!. But because you are at a 800 cal diet, I don't think it could make you gain wieght, but it will harm you in every other way possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

NOO!. The reason why they have no calories is because they have some sugar substitue!. I don't remember the exact details but the substitue soda can make you gain weight!.

Look up the effects of diet coke and stuff with dieting!. Its not deff not good!. what you can drink though is flavored carbonated water!. its EXACTLY like soda but water and 0 cals!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
