Question: Working out to hard!?!? Get big arms HELP!!!?
I am a biginner at lifting i have been lifting for about 2 months!. I want to get big arms!. I lift almost every day except for a day of rest!. I normally do 7 to 10 sets of 12 reps of dumbell curls with 30 pounds!. What can I do to increase muscle mass!? Should I lift if my muscles are soore!? How do muscles grow and develop!? dont lift when your too sore!. your muscles need time to repair themselves!. plus as a beginner you might bemaking the mistake of just doing arms!. thats what i did but believe it or not it helps more to work out your whole body!. for ex!. do cardio before every workout then on mondays do arms and abs!. tuesdays do legs!. wednesdays do back!. then rest on thursday and repeat on friday so on and so on!. some ppl do it differently but as long as you workout different parts on different days!. Also if you want bigger arms you should def take whey protein supplements!. they are completely safe and work very good youll see your arms get bigger within a month or two!. also you might be doing too many sets!. keep it to 5 or even 6 and try to go at least 15 reps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Simple rule!. To get long & lean do more reps of lighter weights!. To get big and bulgy muscles, do less reps and higher weights!. I see guys at the gym do it all the time!. Don't do it so heavy that its harmful!. But do it heavy enough do a few, rotate machines and come back!. It works I promise!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Never work out the same muscle 2 days in a row!. I usually work out every bodypart once a week, as do most of the pro bodybuilders!. Dont do the same exercise for more than 5 sets! Dont lift if they are sore!. Yahoo answers is not a good place for this info! Go read a book about it!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Higher weight for bulk yes, but beeee careful if you feel it in your joints, like elbow!.
That's not good, then you are using joint tissue not

After the workout, eat fish for dinner for the soreness! Also try eating more protien!. Try to lift an amount that you can't do 10 complete reps!. Don't forget to work your shoulders also! gl :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

the lifting creates tiny tears in the muscle and when new muscle forms to heal it it gives you more muscle mass!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you want tone keep doing what your are doing!. if you want bulk try higher weight, lower reps!. and be sure to get enough protein so your muscles can rebuild ~~good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
