Sports drink or water?
I heard from my friend that when ur exercising/running its heaps healthier drinking gatorade and powerade rather than water. Is that really true? :S I always thought water was the healthiest....and she said that u lose weight faster when u drink sports drink....
Please clear this up for me lol im so confused

If you are planning on running a marathon, then 200 calories of any type drink (juice or sports drinks) is recommended for endurance. One 32 oz gatorade just happens to be 200 calories so it is commonly used.
Otherwise, it's water for the rest of us, no need for the extra colories ( that we're trying to burn off) or the added sugar.
