Why do i feel so fat?!


Question: Why do i feel so fat!?
i am 5'4" 118-120 and i feel so fat and want to go curl up in a hole and die

Because you are being influenced by the media every day!. Society (and believe me I know, I'm a sociology major) creates false ideas about how everyone should act!. EVERYTHING you do is a social construction!. The only things aren't are the need for food, the need to use the bathroom, the need for sleep, and the eventually the need to have children!. EVERYTHING else is constructed by humans!. Even the way you use the bathroom was created!. Some of it is good!. The social construction of brushing your teeth is good for you!. But then there are other things such as what you wear, gender roles, stereotypes, and how you look that are completely pointless!.

You are a healthy weight, but growing up female makes it very difficult in society, because being female means, according to the social reality we have created, you have to look like what is attractive!. 400 years ago, 5'4" and 200 pounds and pale was attractive!. The heavier and paler you were, the most money you had so men automatically thought of those women as attractive whether they realized the reason why or not!. Today tan and skinny is attractive!. And the media is amazing at shoving it down our throats, the breast-implanted, anorexic models!. The only reason you feel fat is because you don't look like them (which, by the way is good because the way they are creates heart problems, back problems, bone problems, increased risk of breast cancer, it affects their reproductive organs, and can even kill them)!. Did you know that over 63% of Americans are overweight!? That's over 2/3 or Americans! 2 in every 3 people! 2/3 of America looks NOTHING like the people on TV!. You do because you are at the low end of your healthy range but are still healthy!. But we don't see those 2/3 because it's not attractive according to the media!. So, they put the twigs on there and say "look like this" and then people get frustrated because they can't look like that and they either starve themselves or get so depressed they eat more and end up over-weight!. Hmmm!.!.!.!.!.very intersting, isn't it!? Do what I have done!. Stop looking at the TV!. In fact, I don't watch TV anymore and I don't read Cosmo!. I don't expect you to do that!. But instead of looking on the TV and saying "I want to look like her" look on the street and say "I don't look like her!." Because the people on TV aren't real and they're the ones making you feel like crap (heck even if your friend are pressuring you to become unhealthily skinny, they got it off the TV or other forms of media)!. The people on the street are real!. And I know you are skinnier than 2!./3 of them!.

Oh and don't listen to the person above me because you are at the low end of the healthy range!. For you to be overweight, you have to gain 30 pounds!. To be underweight you have to lose 10!. You're on the lower end!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eat better and exercise!.
Exercise releases chemicals that make you feel Happy, so exercise but don't be obsessed!.
Listen to inspirational music, like Beautiful by Christina Aguilera!. Also, find something about yourself that you find appealing or beautiful and look at that and be sure of yourself!. You're not fat, at all!. I am 5ft 9in and weight around 230, there are many people much bigger than you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think all women feel fat some time in their lives!. if you have been working out and have stopped then your body probably feels sluggish from not exercising!. eating a lot of carbohydrate foods can make you feel bloated and fat as well!. try lots of fresh fruit and veg and less processed food!. sometimes we feel fat according to what stage we are at in our monthly cycle as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

U r not eating properly!.

Eat well but only when hungry and not more than thrice a day!. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%!. To have more satisfaction out of ur food, Chew each morsel at least 32 times!. This will also activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness!. Obey these signals!. Do not go on fast or starvation diet!.

Nothing other than water in between!.

No special diet, call it by any name or program helps as one cannot adopt them on permanent basis!. Diet pills are chemicals and per se bad and shud be avoided unless the doc considers it necessary looking at ur condition!.

Take light exercises and brisk walks for 30 min!.regularly preferably on empty stomach and twice a day!.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time and hassle free!.

Be patient and not in a hurry!.

U cannot choose spots for reduction!.

This schedule can be adopted on permanent basis to lead a healthy life and maintain weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think it has something to do with self consciousness!.!.!.maybe ur worried too much about what other ppl think!. And do u ever feel guilty after having a cookie or a piece of cake!?!? i think in a way ur just paranoid!. but i am totally the same way right now! i just think thats my problem, but i really dont no how to fix it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

That's almost exactly the height and weight of my wife when we met over 20 years ago!. Not fat but beautiful and a healthy weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That is a very healthy weight! Don't stress out about it!. You might want to consider some toning exercises (such as Pilates) because you probably don't need to lose weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
