Yes!.

Water is the primary component of the human body!. For the body to work efficiently, it needs the level to be maintained!.

They say that drinking water aids in weight loss!. The main reason for this is because a properly hydrated body keeps everything running smoothly!. People often feel hungry (and eat) when they are actually dehydrated!. So if you are replenishing yourself throughout the day, you'll feel less hungry>usually leading to weight loss!.

The amount it going to basically be whatever your body needs!. There's no specific amount listed, as everyone's body is different!. You can feel if your body is out of balance, just listen to it!.

Here's an idea!. Keep a bottle of water with you at all times!. Drink whenever you feel thirsty!. When you are hungry between meals, drink some water!. Before meals, drink a glass of water!. This should cut down on the amount of food that you eat!. Strive for 6 glasses, then see how you feel!. and increase/decreas as needed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The liver's duties is to pick up the slack for the kidneys, which need plenty of water to work properly!. If the kidneys are water-deprived, the liver has to do their work along with its own, lowering its total productivity!. It then can't metabolize fat as quickly or efficiently as it could when the kidneys were pulling their own weight!. If you allow this to happen, not only are you being unfair to your liver, but you're also setting yourself up to store fat!.

Eight 8-ounce glasses amount to about two quarts of water!. This is okay for the average person, but if you're overweight, you should drink another eight ounces for every 25 pounds of excess weight you carry!. You should also up this if you live in a hot climate or exercise very intensely!. To get a more individualized water prescription, check out AQUASANA's hydration calculator!.

Yes, it flushes toxins!.

It fills the stomach, decreasing the hunger feeling!.

It keeps the intestinal (fecal, etc) matter well hydrated, making it easier for the body to dispose of

When the body is dehydrated, it takes water from the less necessary areas (urine feces, throat, nose, skin, etc) to support the critical ones (brain, lungs, eyes, etc)

For most healthy adults it is 2 quarts a day, with normal activity!. You could probably get by with 1 - 1!.5 quarts a day (not all at once)!. More is necessary with more activity (more sweating means more water)

At least one cup first thing in the morning is best, since water does evaporate from the body 24 hours a day, especially under a warm blanket!.

The general rule is if your urine comes out clear or a pale, light yellow, you are ok!.

Dark colored urine is a sure sign of dehydration, which is putting a toll on your kidneys!. Long term dehydration does have health consequences!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well not really!.!.!. it really depends!. If you currently replace the juices, energy drinks and sodas with water, then you can help cut down on the number of calories you are consuming and that may help you lose some weight (depending on how much of soda/juice, etc you drink on a daily basis)!.
Also sometimes we may confuse thrist with hunger!. So if you end up being thristy instead of hungry and drink water instead during the time, this will also help limit the number of calories you put in you !.!.!. and again, that can also lead to weight loss!.
Drinking water usually make you full (but then when you urinate, then you will feel empty again)!. So if you drank a large amount of water, it may make you feel fuller longer instead of snacking on junk foods!. (But there is nothing wrong with eating healthy snacks in between meals)!.
But the FDA recommends that you at least drink 8 (8 oz each) glasses of water each day!.
You are at a great weight and height, there is no need for you to lose weight!. If you are trying to build muscle or become tone, you can try lifting weights and doing some resistant trainning!. Also make sure that you are adequately hydrated before, during and after your excercise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Irrespective of your present weight or age you should try to drink at least 8 litres (2 gallons) of fresh water every day, yes I said every day!. This will help with weight management!.
Water is essential for our bodies!.Your BMI is 19!.5 which is at the low end of normal so I don't think you should be concwerned about too much weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
