Do you absolutely HAVE to exercise to get those last two/three pounds off?!


Question: Do you absolutely HAVE to exercise to get those last two/three pounds off!?
Sorry to say but I am NOT into exercise!. Poor excuse but I just don't have the time! I have three kids who I am super busy with, a new house and a husband who spends his free time trying to finish things around the house (remember!.!.!.!. it's new)!.

If I just reduce my caloric intake, will this decrease my weight!? I am NOT one to sit around the house!. In fact, the only time I sit is after the kids have gone to bed or while I drive!. I am very high-strung, always moving about our house CLEANING (it's 4,000+ square feet) but I just have this thing for NOT liking to exercise!.

Anyway!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. can I lose two-ish pounds by just reducing my caloric intake!? (I'm 5'5 and 117 lbs)!.

5'5" and 117 lbs is such a healthy weight, bordering on underweight! Is your body fat content really high enough that you'd benefit from the loss of a couple of pounds!?

Depending on what your caloric content is now, then yes, reducing it will allow you to shed a couple of pounds!. If you're already dieting and your body has adjusted to operating on fewer calories than it would like, however, it may be difficult or impossible--and for good reason! Your body is designed to fend for itself and get what it needs, regardless of how much you want it to weigh!.

Cleaning and chasing toddlers all the time is GREAT!. I had no time to exercise when I managed a restaurant, but walking around constantly for 60 hours a week made me lose ten pounds that once-daily exercise never has!. If one of your activities is making you breathe heavily for 20 minutes each day, whether it's chasing a kid or painting the living room, that absolutely counts as exercise! There's no reason you have to do something you hate to be physically fit!

Shrinking down from 117 will be difficult and perhaps even unhealthy for you, so check with a doc to see what your body composition is and if your daily running around is keeping you in shape!. I bet it is!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well first of all, I don't think you need to lose weight AT ALL!.

But if you want to lose a couple pounds, then yeah, you can do it without excercising!. Just cut out your calories intake 100 calories a day, and before you know it, it will all add up and by the end of the week, you will have lost weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well I don't know about reducing your caloric intake since I don't know how many calories your currently eating per day!. However, you say your 5'5'' and 117 pounds, I think you're fine at the weight you are now!. If anything, I would work on toning your body rather than losing weight!. =o)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know how hard it must be for you- moving around everywhere, trying to get settled in it's just so hard!. I'm pretty sure that you could lose two to three pounds if you reduce your caloric intake!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I m not sure about the calorie thing but I know that cleaning the house and taking care of kids burns a lot of calories!. That is your exercise! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do you have time staying in the hospital after bypass surgery!? Or, do you like it when you died and now your kids do not have a mom, because she did not exercise!? I understand you are busy, but you need to take care of yourself! Who is going to take care of your kids when you can't!? Lack of exercises is a health risk for lots of diseases! Go out and by some Resistance tubing!. they come in different strengths!. also invest in an exercise ball! with this alone, you can knock off your strength training exercises in 10 minutes flat! also get a step aerobic step and some tapes!. you must step for a minimum of 20 minutes 3 times a week!. if you have 10 minutes here then 10 minutes there, you can fit it in!. does not have to be done 20 min straight! your strength exercises can be done just twice a week! You can do that part while taking care of your kids! You will not only lose more if your exercise, you will be more successful KEEPING IT OFF! I just finished reading all of your question!. Why do you want to lose more weight!? At you height, and weight, that does not sound so bad!. Take it from a personal trainer, although everyone is different, I think just exercising is OK, but watch your weight getting low! It does not seen you need to lose!Www@Answer-Health@Com
