When "they" say one should burn more calories than consumed, does that!
Question:
When "they" say one should burn more calories than consumed, does that include calories burned at rest?
I currently eat about 1400 calories a day and I exercise. If I burn 500 calories with exercise, should I include my Resting Metabolic Rate calories to that number as my total calories-burned-for-the-day? My RMR is 1286.... do I add the 500 calories burned with exercise to that number?
Or do I have to burn more than the 1400 calories that I eat daily through exercise? If so, how can I possibly burn that many calories through exercise?
*I have a physical limitation. I cannot run.
I hope that's not too confusing.
