Is Microwaved food truly bad for you?!
Question:
Is Microwaved food truly bad for you?
Answers:
well do you mean the microwaves being emitted into the food if so the United States Food and Drug Adminstration's Center for Devices and Radiological Health(man thats a long title) concluded that the radiation is far below the exposure level that is currently considered to be harmful to human health. And also it is non-ionizing like radio waves therefore not posing any specific cancer risks.
a lil physics lesson for yall:
non-ionizing-electromagnetic radiation that does not carry enough energy per quantum to ionize atoms or molecules — that is, to completely remove an electron from an atom or molecule.
therefore it cannot cause mutation for cancer
now if you mean the food itself most frozen dinners that you'll microwave to cook is high in preservatives and sodium making them not too good for you
some food for thought it is actually likely to get cancer from grilling high protein foods because the fat/protein that drips on the coals burn and form carcinogenic gases that can get in your food. it is actually recommended to precook your food in the microwave before grilling to reduce this.
