Starting to exercise...?!

Question: Starting to exercise!.!.!.!?
I want to start exercising, I just had a baby 4 1/2 months ago, I'm trying to lose the baby weight, and I'm overweight!. I've never had an excercise regimen, and I want to start one!. I would like to start running, but I know I dont have the condition, I'll get tired fast and will be loosing my breath!.

How effective is it running one minute, then walkin one minute, and so on, for about 20 min to start with!. Will it help me build a good condition!?!?!?

And by the way, how effective is the treadmill calorie count computer!? If I walk for 20 mins, it says that I burned 100 calories, do you think that is right!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Just the fact you are active will lead to a better wellbeing although if you want to see results the best way is to test your limits!. Run at a stead pace until you can no longer then drop the speed and walk and keep doing it until you see fit!. If you have 30 minutes of physical exercise it will raise your heart rate and metabolism for the rest of the day leading to more fat loss and energy in the long run!. Keep at it and good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Treadmill and other machine calorie-counters aren't always that accurate!. It's possible that it's right, but don't put a lot of faith into what it says!. And as long as you're getting exercise, you're moving in the right direction!. My sister always tells me that if you start by working on the distance, the speed will eventually come!. Start out slow and you'll get to where you want to be as long as you commit to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
