How to measure calories listed on products?!

Question: How to measure calories listed on products!?
When a product lists the number of calories it has on their label, does that number equal to calories per serving or total calories!. Example: I drink reduced fat milk!. On the nutrition facts, it reads: 1 serving per cup, 16 servings, 130 Calories!. Is that 130 calories the total number of calories in that gallong of milk!? Or is the 130 calories, the amount you can expect to take in with each servin!?

I need to know cuz im starting a workout/diet regimen but I'm new to all of this!. This will help me balance and read all the other foods I take in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
That is 130 calories for one serving!. There would be a total of 2080 calories in the whole jug of milk!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sadly, it varies!. A LOT!. They try to trick you by using "serving size" etc!. but who eats three teaspoons of icecream!?

Responsible companies list their values in per 100 grams!.

Don't get too caught up in counting calories though, it's no way to live, and it's incredibly frustrating because your body doesn't lose X grams per day if you eat Y ammount of calories, automatically!.

Watch what you eat, don't obsess over it, and don't tell deny yourself a treat now and then!. The most important part is to work out rigerously and correctly!. The rest is best left up to time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Serving sizes can vary, but the calorie count on the label is for that product, here it is 130 cals!. in your cup of milk ( a cup, being 8 ounces)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
