Question:
What is the most perfect food?
what is the most nutritionally fulfilling food around? like if you were stuck on an island and ony had one food to sustain you, what would be best?
please explain why...
Also, i am not looking for lame answers..its a real question about what food i should consider as a staple to my diet :)
Answers:
For grains its brown rice, whole wheat oatmeal and pasta, wheat bran or anything wheat. Vegetables: turnip greens cooked, raw spinach, raw bok choy, Romaine lettuce. Fruits: cantaloupe, guava, papaya, strawberries, mangos, kiwi, oranges. Legumes: bean sprouts, green peas, minestrone soup. Meat/Fish: canned tuna, baked pike, baked salmon, baked turkey, baked chicken breast w/out skin.
I don’t eat all of this and I know its more than one thing, but this is the food with some of the highest nutrition.
I like to a lot of fruit, some fish (tuna and salmon) and something healthy with a lot of carbs (pasta) b/c im a runner.
If you post what you eat right currently, then I can tell you what each food does to your body.
