i intend to lose 15kg before christmas ... on my thighs,stomach and arms ... so yah ...

You can't "spot lose". fat comes off where it comes off. Eat 1200 calories a day (no less). Workout for at least 30 minutes 5 days a week. One of the cool things about exercise is that it allows you some extra calories in your day. Start slowly. Walking is best. Then walk faster after the first week then faster the second week and so on. Until you can walk/jog 5 kilometer in 40 minutes or less. DON'T SKIP WORKOUTS! Write down everything you eat (no cheating, you only cheat yourself). Remember, you're out to lose fat not weight so stay away from the scale! Use the mirror as your guide. There is little in this world more discouraging than putting in a lot of work and not seeing what you were expecting on the scale. If you feel you have to look then just once a week. Now, let me tell you the worst kept secret to losing weight. Don't eat anything after 6 pm. Or if you work odd hours, Nothing 4 hours before you go to sleep. This is like a mini fast and what better time to be a bit hungry than when you're sleeping? Lastly. Find an eating pattern you can live with for the rest of your life. Once in a while include a treat and then eat only half of it. Many people feel once they lose the weight they can go back to the poor eating and sedentary lifestyle...big mistake. Be patient. You've given yourself alot of time get there so you don't have to kill yourself. Just stay steady and you'll look great by Xmas! Good luck... Rob
