Answers:
Your on the right track and it will take diet and excercise to accomplish your goal!. Since your skinny I'm pretty sure that you have a high metabolism and you burn off calories really fast!. Your going to have to start eating more and limit the junk food when you can!. Some good choices would be:

Chicken
Fish
Peanut Butter
Brown Rice
Wheat Bread
Fruits
Vegetables
Eggs
Milk

Those are all very calorie dense and will provide enough calories to pack on some weight!. If you decide to lift weights then be sure to not be afraid to lift heavy!. What I'm saying is, if you can do arm curls with 10lbs and not put much effort into it, then you need to go up to 15 lbs in order to progress and gain size!. Don't worry about bulking up and looking like a female bodybuilder because those athletes use steroids and other illegal substances to obtain that level of muscle mass!. Not to mention they consume MASSIVE amounts of calories!. I remember reading an interview where one female bodybuilder consumed 4000 calories per day to maintain her muscle mass!.

Given your size you could get away with taking in 1500 calories a day!.!.!.!.maybe 2000 at the most!. Since you seem to have a fast metabolism you shouldn't worry about gaining too much because your biggest challenge is going to be keeping the weight on!. Good luck on reaching your goal and remember to never give up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
