If im tryin to max out at 180 how much should i warm up with, and how many reps !


Question: If im tryin to max out at 180 how much should i warm up with, and how many reps should I do!.!?
I want to be careful to not wear myself out but to stretch out good so i can actually lift it!. I've tried to max out with out warming up before and it felt like i was lifting a house!. the next time i warmed up and i threw it off my chest!. So i know it helps but how much should I do prior!. no matter what i am doing i always use 135 to warm up!. for me i do 1 set of 10 reps and it seems to work just fine!. be careful not to stretch too much because that will wear out your muscles!. i hope this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com

i would do one or two lighter sets of 8X140 before benching your max!. That way youll be warmed up for your working sets but your muscles wont be fatigued!. Good luck with your training!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
