When I cut down on sweets, like cakes and candy I felt horrible!. I would shake and feel nauseous!. That lasted for about 2 weeks!. My body gradually adjusted!. I still eat sugar but much less than before!. I still get a craving for sweets from time to time, but I no longer feel like my body wants to shut down for lack of a sugar fix!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, because your body needs sugar to function!. However it doesn't need the types of sugar that you're craving (sweet snacks and whatnot)!. When you're craving sweets, try eating some fruits instead!. If that's not doing it for you, top it with 2 tablespoons of Redi-Whip Fat Free whipped cream!. It's only 5 calories for 2 tablespoons!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your body will always crave sugar because you need it to keep blood sugar levels normal!. However, try getting natural sugars from things like fruits, orange juice, yogurt and muesli/protein bars rather then from sugary drinks, cereals and candies!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
