Question: I am desperate to lose weight, and need help!?
Hello,

I am a 26 year old woman that is VERY obese!. I have bee fat all of my life!. I never understood it as a kid--I grew up in the country, we didn't even have things like sweets around--my mom always cooked healty, homemade meals!. I played outside all of the time!. But my weight crept up and up!. Now, I am almost 400 pounds!. I hate it!. I have tried diets; I'll lose a little, and gain it back-plus some!. I never have the energy to exercise!.!.!.it's a vicious circle!.

Has anyone here lost a significant amount of weight, without surgery!? How did you do it!?

And please, no rude answers about my weight!. I am a person, with feelings, just like anyone else!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok first of all!.!. watch what you eat!.

1!. eat a good breakfast,lunch, and dinner, so that you arent hungry imbetween!.
2!. if you are about to eat a snack, ask yourself, am i really hungry!? or am i eating out of boredom!? and if you really need a snack, try and eat something healthy like fruit or a smoothie, rather than fatty greasy foods!.
3!. also if you crave some sweets, chew a peice of sugarfree gum!. (there are many dif good cravings) these arent unhealthy and will satisfy your craving!.
4!. buy only healthier foods so you wont be tempted by unhealthy foods!.
5!. when you eat meals, eat slow!. because if you eat really fast, your body wont have time to tell you your full, so you will over eat!. so take your time, and you will eat less, the perfect amount your body wants!.
6!. as for workouts, just go out and be active with your friends!. you could join a club sport!. you could play volleyball, soccer, you could run, or walk, hike, or ride your bicycle!. another workout which would be easier to do at home and by yourself (or even with your friends) is pilates or yoga!. buy a pilates dvd or something!. and do it atleast a couple times a week!.
7!. i really suggest maybe walking a few mornings a week also!. that should really help!.

well, i am a girl, 5'7 and 162 lbs!. People say that i look like I weight about 135 lbs, but I KNOW I weight more than that!.
-Lots of people recommended wulong tea, which I don't know if it works or not (worth a try)!.
-don't eat too full, eat the most for breakfast, just about full at lunch, and eat very little for dinner!. It's hard at first, just try not to eat as much as you normally do!.
-It's all about the exercise, if u are trying to lose weight very quickly, then forgot it!. It's all about taking your time slowly, you can't just do it in a day, but after a long good while, you can see your result!.
-A fun way to lose weight is vacation! Just by living in hotel, and eat buffet, u can lose weight!. Everytime I go somewhere, I ended up losing weight!.
-Swimming is VERY important!. I know that if you stand in the water, it will burn of dat and calorie!. If you move your arms and legs while you are swimming, think about how much weight you can lose!
I lost 20 lbs last summer, I will try lose about 20 lbs this summer, and good luck to you too!Www@Answer-Health@Com
