Need to lose 10 pounds in three weeks. Suggestions?!


Question: Need to lose 10 pounds in three weeks!. Suggestions!?
Here's my dilemma: I am already physically active!. I am 5'8", and weigh 156 pounds currently!. I know a lot of people here probably think I'm fat, which is fine!. I go to the gym 4-5 days a week!. I usually do 40 minutes on the treadmill at 4MPH at about a 4-6 incline, and 2-3 days a week, I strength train with weights for 30 minutes!.

I eat rather healthy, although I do splurge every now and again!. I don't drink soda, haven't for years!. I eat TONS of fruits and veggies (3-5 servings a day) and drink a lot of water (approx 2-3L a day)!. I have a 5-year-old kid, and I can't lose those last ten "vanity" pounds that I have!. It seems whatever I do, it doesn't work!.

Being that I am already active and eat healthy, what suggestions do you all have that will help me lose these last ten pounds that I can't seem to get rid of!?

Cut out bread, tortillas, pita, and noodles!. Also reduce sugar and salt and you should lose about ten pounds in three weeks!. Avoid watermelon as it turns to sugar in your body!. Other foods like carrots and sweet corn will do the same!. Best wishes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

More cardio!. Up the treadmill and put it in an incline (uphill)!. Try an exercise bike!. 10 minutes rapid speed, 3 minutes normal to slow!. Repeat 6 times!. You may be at a "plateu" (sorry about the spelling) where you seem to be at a standstill!. Persevere, you will come out of the plateu and start losing again!. At lot of people give up at this point but stick with it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I can say I do not consider you fat!. If you are healthy, don't worry about the so called " last 10 lbs)!. You at a good weight for your height
IF you are hellbent on doing this ( but only for yourself, no one else) then try some yoga!. Your body has become accustomed to the punishment you already dish out on it, so it needs a different routine!.
Try Turbo Jam or see if there is a Zumba class!.

Silly as it sounds, the Special K Diet!. I lost 6 pounds in 3 weeks!. along with the diet I worked out approximately 4 times a week, mixing the workouts up!. Did some cardio as well!.

Circuit training and walking helped out as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

One question I have is: how long have you been going to the gym!? If it's only been a few weeks that you have been working out like this, just give it time!. I would cut red meat (unless extremely lean), pork, and whatever other saturated fats from your diet that you can!. When you eat meat grilled catfish or chicken breast (cut all the fat off!) are great ways to go!.
In addition to the gym, get out and do stuff like hiking, 5k runs, swimming, etc!. You will basically spend a day having fun and working more muscles longer, and you won't notice that you are 'exercising' so much!. ;-)Www@Answer-Health@Com
