Weight gain after workout?

I've been working out at the gym for 8 days now. I only go on the treadmill for an hour on the Cardio setting. I weighed myself and apparently I gained 4 pounds! I don't eat fatty foods, but I don't eat enough calories. Why did I gain weight?

are you drinking alot of water?this is happening to me are yoy going to the bathroom often mabey you need to have more fiber in your diet plus youre working out so you could be gaing more mucsle and muscle weighs more than fat so realy just dont worry about it ayou should do what trainers do dont focus on the weight but take measurments of you waist line and biceps and c how they grow or go down but hope this helps and good luck
