How long does it take for muscles not to be a strong as they were?!


Question:

How long does it take for muscles not to be a strong as they were?

I mean like, if you work out for 2 days a week instead of 4 or 5 will it be harder to do the same work out that you did before. I guess what I'm asking is, is how long does it take for muscle mass to reduce?


Answers:

If you train intensely and eat properly, it takes a long time. This is why many people are often stronger after a 4 day layoff from training.

However, if you miss a meal or if your carbohydrate intake is too low, you will start losing muscle in a matter of hours.

This is why a missed meal will hurt you much more than a missed workout.
