Am I strength training correctly?!

Question: Am I strength training correctly!?
I put together a weight lifting routine consisting of three exercises and two muscle group!. I split my workout for Mon, Wed, Thur, and Fri!. I dedicate about 45 minutes to an hour every time!.

I lift as heavy as I my skinny arms can handle, that being able to hold the weight and preform the exercise smoothly!. I stick to the amount of reps and sets that I could do!. At the end of my training I feel tired but my body isn't as sore as I would expect!. I know muscles have to be torn for it to grow considering your eating protein and stuff!.

Should I feel sore after my workout for me to know I'm lifting enough weight and doing the correct amount of reps and sets!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

hey it is actually a misconception that muscles needs to be completely sore after a workout in order for your muscles to grow!. What you need to make sure is that you are progressing your workouts every time and that your body hasn't adapted to the exercises!. Try switching up the exercises so you hit another part of the muscle or in another way!. Eat or drink protein right after and you are good to go!. =)
You can know if you are using the right weight if you know you can't do 2 more reps of the exercise!. So you if you can do 2 more reps, i suggest you add some more weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you will find your body adapts to training routines and certain exercises - therefor the soreness dwindles over time!.!.!.

once a month or so you should shock your body

switch your days and your routines round - and you will notice the soreness return

its called a plateau - and you must break this to progress

you want to always keep your body guessing - and always push it - so when you start to squeeze out extra reps dont get lazy - keep putting that weight upWww@Answer-Health@Com

soreness does not indicate a good workout, it is nothing but a build up of lactic acid!. sometimes you will be sore, but usually ur body will get used to it and u wont be sore as often!. u do need to switch things up once in a while though!. also for strength training stick to compounds(deadlift/benchpress/squat/mili!.!.!. press/rows) with low reps(4-6)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Once you stop feeling sore after workouts, it's time to either make it tougher or switch it up, sticking to the same lifting schedule for more than a month isn't a good idea as you build muscle memory and won't gain mass and strength as quickly, at the very least vary reps and weight from time to time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Soreness!? Your body gets used to the soreness!. If you're not at least a little sore, then you need to change your routine!. It's totally normal, keep training, and to get bigger in mass then you want to do about 6-8 reps (the last rep being really, really hard)!. To gain strength, do 10 reps (once again, with the last rep being real hard)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
