Question:
How do i maintain muscle??
I read that per 1 pound of muscle, you need 10 calories. Well, that means my total body only needs 1680 calories to maintain...so, can I just eat 1680 worth of calories, and that maintain all my muscle??
I don't think that's correct, but I'm not sure.
ALSO: I am currently doing HIIT/Steady cardio 3x a week and lifting heavy 2x a week.
Will that ensure that I keep my muscles (at least minimize the muscle breakdown) while losing fat? Or do I need to lift 3x a week and do cardio 2x a week? My goal is to lose fat and RETAIN muscle, not build muscle.

if any muscle is not used for 30-40 hours it begins to decrease in size maybe increase the number weight sessions but decrease the weight being lifted
