Question: Any way to get my wife to lose weight without being rude!?
In her defense, she had baby #2 in December!.
That said, she isn't making much of an effort to shed the baby weight and I worry it will catch up to her if she waits longer!. I am serious about this because I am always asked by her ("do you think I should lose weight!?" or I have to hear her say things like "I wish I was thinner")
I am there for her 100%!.!.!.but I'm not sure how to confirm that she does need to lose some without being insensitive!.

Well that's a tough one!. It's gotta be about what she wants, not what you want or else you could get into trouble on this!. If she asks again if you think she needs to lose weight I'd just say that you have noticed that she hasn't lost the baby weight yet!. Try to think of some fun activities you all can do together to get her more active (I know its hard with 2 small kids) but bike rides after dinner is something you can do as a family, of even walks with the baby in a stroller!. But ultimately having kids does change a woman's body and she may never get back to the way she was before having babies and you just need to be loving and assure her that her body image is not a measurement of your love for her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am also a married man, but whenever I notice that my wife is gaining weight, I call her attention on it citing that excessive fat is bad for her health!. Since you do not want to be offensive, you can tell her about it in a nice and subtle way!. How to tell her!? Be direct and without any hint of sarcasm!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you don't go jogging, start doing it and ask your wife if she would like to join you, go out when you can and go swimming or something together!. cook meals at night and make sure they are healthy!.
sex is also good for burning calories, 30 mins of sex burns around 300 calories!.

dont tell her she needs to lose weight!. she wont appreciate it!. the only reason shes asking you wether she needs to lose weight is for validation, for you to say 'no way you look great'!. instead, you could suggest you two start eating healthy or ask her if she wants to take a walk every day!. make it about the both of you, she'll appreciate thatWww@Answer-Health@Com

Fix a competition for losing weight and reward for those gain and penalty those who gain!. It will work only if u r also overweight!.

Eat well but only when hungry and not more than thrice a day!. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%!. To have more satisfaction out of ur food, Chew each morsel at least 32 times!. This will also activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness!. Obey these signals!. Do not go on fast or starvation diet!.

Nothing other than water in between!.

No special diet, call it by any name or program helps as one cannot adopt them on permanent basis!. Diet pills are chemicals and per se bad and shud be avoided unless the doc considers it necessary looking at ur condition!.

Take light exercises and brisk walks for 30 min!.regularly preferably on empty stomach and twice a day!. Do not overdo!.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time and hassle free!.

Be patient and not in a hurry!.

U cannot choose spots for reduction!.

You cant make her!. If she wants to she will!.

Next time she mentions it, ask her how she is going to do it!. Let her make the choices!. Ask her what she wants to change!. Ask is there anything you can do to help, and tell her that you will support her!. Make it something she wants, and act as if it doesn't matter what you want!. This is the best motivation!.

Be careful of criticizing and being negative!. This may seem like it is motivating and helping, but its not!. It will have the opposite effect!.

For example, if you see her eating ice cream, don't call her on it!. It will make her feel bad and offer no motivation to stop!. That may be something really important to her!. IF she wants to cut it out, she will!.

Help where you can, don't criticize and be supportive!. Remember, nothing will happen unless she really wants it to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
