What's a good way to lose 30 pounds..?!


Question: What's a good way to lose 30 pounds!.!.!?
!.!.in a month, starting June 1st!? I mean at home, without going to the gym, or joining a program because unfortunately, they aren't a choice because we have none near us!. I am 13 year old girl!. I don't want to lose this weight for looks, I want to lose it because I am a bit overweight!. Any advice is helpful!

I too am trying to shed my "winter coat!." Cut out fried food, and try to eat more fruits and veggies!. Rather than snacking on chips/cookies opt for carrots or celery!. Starting good eating habits now are going to benefit you so MUCH in the long run!! I'm actually in the process of looking for a weight loss support website!. Just something where members can track each others weight loss/ goals/ what works, what doesn't/ etc!. If I find a good one, I'll message it over for sure!.
At 13, you shouldn't have a hard time dropping extra pounds since you luckily still have that younger metabolism!( so jealous!!!) Have you considered maybe joining a school sport!? I played volleyball and ran track through high school and I was in GREAT shape! If you are trying to lose 30 lbs though, you might want to check with your doctor first and make sure thats an appropriate amount of weight to lose for someone your age!. Even old 27 year olds like me check with their doctor first!.!.!. And she agreed that I could shed a few lbs!. i hate her!. haha!.

Oh, one more thing!.!.!. don't focus on trying to get it done in just a month!. Fad diets are unhealthy and never last!. Take your time and do it right!. The most important goal is to be healthy, not just to drop weight!. If you do it TOO fast in an unhealthy way you could end up with stretch marks, etc!. =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's hard to say what your best course of action is when you don't say what your alternatives are or what your weight now is!.

Walking is a great way to lose and keep weight off!. When i was in college, I had no exercise regimen and never watched what I ate, but I walked everywhere, and my weight was below overweight!.

That said, I don't see how you can realistically lose that ,uch weight in a month, unless you don't care about getting it back quickly (and with interest)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey, you have a puppy right!? I'm sure he'd appreciate the exercise!.

Go for a jog in the afternoon!. Start it small, maybe around the block, then slowly go farther and farther!. It's something fun the two of you can enjoy together!. Some days like on the weekends you can go onto a moderate hiking trail!. Make sure to drink plenty of water and eat healthy foods like fruits and vegetables!.

Add: Another suggestion if you know how to swim is join your local swim team, but do it quick! Registrations for my town were today!. I've been doing it for years and I love it!. It's great exercise and it's fun, and I'm a much better swimmer now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

did u know it like erases 8 calories for each gram you eat!? for 35g a day thats 26 pounds in a year w!.out excercise or diet!.!.nice right!? but to speed it up id say eat whole grains fresh fruits veggies and noo processed junk!. and excercise every day!.!. if your going for a pound a day !.!.thats not possible unless you like eat nothing and excersise 24/7!.!.but around 20-30 minutes,,more if you can,!.!.and try to go as hard as you can, but walking in there is aciptible if your about to pass out hahaWww@Answer-Health@Com

Ohkay I'm 13 too!! What i do to loose weight is DRINK A TON OF WATER! a TON! i dropped 20 pounds in jan/feb because i CONSTANTLY DRANK WATER!! always have a water bottle with you and eat lots of fruit and vegietables but just drink water!! drink water! drink water! and you can check if you over wieght or not on the website link below! GOOD LUCK GIRLFRIEND!! :D
