Answers:
They should do nicely!.!.!.I'm an adult male, I use a mere 5 lbs!. set of dumbells and walk 1 1/2 miles twice a day with them!. Each walk takes about 20 minutes!. I raise the bells from about belt height to my shoulders as I walk!. It's a good steady 20 minute workout, twice a day!. In about two weeks it's really made a difference for me!. It tones the muscles and makes you feel better all over!.!.!. - Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes they are! Lifting weights will also have a positive effect down the road if you keep this up!. Stress on the bones in the form of resistance exercise helps to prevent or reverse the loss of bone mass ( osteopenia and osteoporosis ) so stay at it!. With light weights you can do high repetitions to fatigue or what I think is a better way of lifting!. That is super slow and it goes like this!. There are two phases of any movement!. The concentric or shortening phase and the eccentric or lengthening phase!. To do this type of lifting on the shortening or concentric phase it should take you six seconds to complete!. The eccentric or lengthening phase should take ten seconds to perform!. As an example bicep curls would go like this!. Start with the weight down at your sides with the elbows fully extended!. The curl or shortening phase will start and take six seconds to finish with the weight being up at the shoulder!. The down or lengthening phase starts at the top and will take ten seconds to return to the starting position!. You need only do one set as your muscles will be tired for each exercise pattern that you do!. This will add tone and in almost all females it is very difficult to add any real muscle mass!. Good luck and have fun doing this!. By the way once you become proficient at this you can beat some men by asking them to do the same movement!. They think it will be a snap to do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yep, they sure are enough!. Start with that and when it gets too easy increase the weight!. It won't happen overnight but if you do this consistently every 2-3 days you will see your arms tone up and it will become easier which is a signal that it's time to increase the weight if you want to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Many people out there want to know how to get toned arms without bulking up with a huge amount of muscle!.

Now what must be kept in mind is that the technique to doing this is very different to getting ripped or packing on a lot of muscle!. Getting toned arms requires a different form of workout!. Getting toned arms is much more focused on actual strength!. Now when I say strength I do not mean how many stacks of weights you can lift!. I mean how fast and far you can run, how many push ups you can pump out and so on!.

You may have noticed that a lot of athletes are in fact extremely toned!. They have toned arms and very lean muscular bodies!. They achieve this through their actual training!. Take sprinters for example!. Their main focus of training is simply to run as fast as they can!. You won't find them in the gym doing bicep curls with a dumbbell!.

So if you are looking to get toned arms, you have to train your arms in this way!. Like an athlete!.

Ever heard of HIIT training!? What it basically means is that first you do an exercise such as running at a fast pace for a short time!. Then you slow the speed down for roughly a minute then pick it up again!. This is repeated for a good 10 minutes at least!. This type of workout is similar to a sprinters workout!. It burns fat quickly and in fact it actually burns fat after the actual workout!.

Push ups are another form of toning exercise that can be done!. You can get amazingly toned arms just by pumping push ups every day and mixing it with a sprinting cardio routine!. Another example would be break-dancers!. Their arms are as toned as you can get!. This is because of their pure strength and ability to lift their body weight for long periods of time!.

These are the types of exercises that you need to know to learn how to get toned arms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

for toning you want to aim for about 12 reps per set with the last rep being a struggle to complete!. If its not fatiguing your muscles its not working hard enough and you are not going to achieve your goalsWww@Answer-Health@Com
