What do i have to do to be ready for the marines?!


Question: What do i have to do to be ready for the marines!?
I am 5'1 1/2", i weigh 135, i'm 17 years old, and i've been talking to a recruter, but i don't know excalty how to be ready!. How far do i have to run, how much time!? How many push-ups, sit-ups, just anything and everything!. any help!?Www@Answer-Health@Com


Answers:
Push ups, sit ups, and running are all going to be lifestyle changes!. The marines dont just have scheduled workouts!. You may have to do 2x or maybe even 3x more work some days without notice!. If you wanna train for the marines, the key thing is to build your endurance in any workout!. Be able to run at least 3-5 mile nonstop at your own pace and do as many push ups and sit ups as you feel comfortable with every day!. Every time you work out, you push your body a lil bit past its threshold and by doing this in a constant matter, your overall physical fitness will improve!. There's not exactly a planned workout I can share with you to be prepared but heres a tip=
Mon-Wed-Fri= Run long distances at your own pace
Tues-Thurs-Sat=Push Ups, Pull ups, Squats (Bodyweight exercises)
Every day of the week=Abs

If you follow this general program, you'll start to notice changes in your endurance and if you stick with it, you'll definetly be ready!. Just keep working and keep going!.

When I was in the corps the requirements were run 1!.5 mile in 13!.5minutes 30 sit ups in two minutes and 2 min!. for pull ups!. The recruiter should be able to answer this question with out even thinking!. Before I left I made sure that I could do more than the min!. requirements along with my recruiter!. The more you can do the better off you are!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you are in reasonable condition, and pass the physical you will be just fine
