Gymnastics?!


Question: Gymnastics!?
I've never done it, and I'm going to try it in High School next year when I'll be a freshmen!. They'll start in August!. Is it really hard!? Do you get hurt alot as apposed to any other sports like field hockey and track!? I'm slender, and my leg muscles are pretty good, but my upper body needs work!. Any help or tips to get me ready for august!? videos will help!. thnkx!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You will be absolutely fine if you have a good instructor!. Before each session i suggest you warm up properly so that you don't pull any muscles!. If you haven't done gymnastics before then you should start with very easy moves like forward rolls and handstands etc!. Then you will be able to move on to performing on beams, springboards, trapezes and mats!. You will only get hurt if you try hard things when you are at a low level so don't push yourself too hard and as long as your instructor is good then you will be perfectly safe whilst doing somersaults!. build ur upper body strength!. Get ur arms working more!. Better leg strength will help, too!. Maybe get a bit flexible!. It's easiest for ppl who start at a rly young age- think ice skating!. All those ppl who are pros were doing it at the age of like!.!.!.3!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
