hey u guys,i'm 14,117lbs,and 5:2,i need to lose sum more flab offa my stomach,its not totally flat,i was thinking of yoga,and i heard power yoga works better than yoga,so how should i do power yoga at home,any ideas on how to lose the flab really quick,i'm also thinking of walkong on the threadmill for 45 mins

First off I would like to point out that there are a lot of ignorant assholes that will tell you to do stupid things, like some of the ones who answered already!. So take everything from people like that with a grain of salt!.

You are 14, 117 lbs, and 5'2!.!.!. sounds to me like you are an average teenaged girl!. My advice would be to become more active, and try to stay away from junk!. You are still so young so your metabolisim should be kickin right now!. Making minor changes will make a huge difference!. Try replacing soda with tea, or potato chips with fruit!.

Most of all!.!.!. AVOID FAD DIETS! From personal experience fad diets and eating disorders make you gain more weight in the end!. Be healthy and remeber to be proud of yourself no matter what!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I can't help with the yoga, because I havne't done any yoga exercises!. I do know though if you work your abs( cardio exercises)it can make you loose weight and make your stomach flat!. These you can do by crunches and other abdominal stomach exercises!.

Exercise enough isn't enough!. You have to eat a balanced diet as well!.

did you know when you sleep your body is still working!?!. Just by sleeping, you can loose 55 calories per hour! You can loose calories by eating too!

power walking you can loose 600+ calories and running is even more!

so the more calories you burn the less weight!

i lost a lot of weight during track!.!.so running would help!.!.you have to push yourself though!. even when it begins to hurt!.!.and etc!. keep going!.!.!.[unless your like going to get sick]

and also!.!.!.gymnastics is my favorite sport ever!.!.!.!.i do it all the time!.!.and it keeps my tummy flat!.!.and muscle-y

Martial Arts helps a lot!.
Yoga would be ok!.
But martial arts is 10X better!.
Martial arts would be like "Power yoga"!.

Actually I'm doing the same thing as you!.

The great thing about yoga is the kind of excercise it is!. It happens to be both anaerobic and aerobic excerise!. This means that it is helping build/condition your muscles (ie: metabolism, heart, etc!.) as well as delevolping them (ie: agility, strength, speed, etc!.)!. Yoga and pilates are both really great for this!.

I find it is easiest to get a DVD on yoga/pilates and follow along!. That way, it saves you from the embarassment of being a begineer and not doing too well!. Also, you can do this in a comfortable, familiar enviornment!. It removes the stress you may get from others seeing you do these moves/poses!. Additionally, it allows you to skip parts and make your own routine as well as your own flexible schedule!.


For the treadmill, are you walking or running!? Walking is actually proven to be the best and easiest excercise because it is not terrifying and a lot more enjoyable than running for most people!. Also, the benefit from the amount of time you spend walking is doubled because the heartrate you have reaches a plateau which lasts for up to the same amount of time that you just spent walking!. On the other hand, running builds muscles more but doesn't help loose as much weight!. Running is also a lot more laborious and more dreadful!. Studies show a walking routine is a lot easier than a running one!.


Whatever you do, leave one day of rest in between your excercise days!. This will allow for the muscles to rebuild themselves!. Not much harm will come if you don't rest, but resting offers results just as well as excercise!.


If you want to go on a diet, base it on proteins but relax the proteins for one day each week!. Proteins are processed by the liver and too much dependence will cause liver failure if you don't give it a break every now and then!. The good thing about proteins is they are not stored anywhere!. They are excreted in the urine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
