The six packs abs diet...?!


Question: The six packs abs diet!.!.!.!?
So, I've been reading the Rodale 'Six weeks to six pack abs' book, and I was wondering if anyone had good hints/tips, and -especially- recipes!. Food tends to be the spot I fail at, because I'm so scared of what I shouldn't eat!. I don't eat anything!.

I try to have either some Total cereal for break, or a smoothie!. For snack (about 3 hours later) i have a banana, and two pieces of cheese!. On lunch I have like a sandwich usually!. For a secondary snack I have!.!.!. Depends - Sometimes a banana, sometimes an apple!. For dinner I have like some 90 second Uncle Bens rice, and some piece of meat!.

Through-out the day I drink TONS of water, and some Diet Mountain Dew/Gatorade - However, starting today I will only drink water/Propel - Mainly propel!. Any suggestions!? I work construction 13 hours a day, and do the gym for 2 hours a day; So me not losing weight, much less getting a 'washboard abs' going on, is baffling!.!.!. As far as i know, in order to ur 6 packs to show off u have to lose some of ur body fat!. So here are a few tips i have for u:
-try to figure out ur body fat percentage and set a specific goal!.
-eat less carb food like rice or sandwiches, and more protein rich like fish, skinless chickens!.
-You should stay away from sugary stuffs like sodas, ice cream
-Eat more salads
-Eat smaller meal and have like 6 meals a day, that way it speeds up ur metabolism
-If u do work out, try to run for 30mins when u wake up in the morning with nothing in ur stomach; that way ur metabolism for the day will be speed up greatly and ur body will access the reserve energy right away!.
Eating apples is a great way to lose weight, i have been doing all of the above for a month and i lost 10 lbs, my abs started to get flatter and flatter which is a great thing!.
Here is my daily routine:
Moring workout for 30 mins, eat a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast with a glass of NON FAT milk!.
2 hours later, i eat an apple!.
For lunch, i eat a small dish of ham salads that i made myself!.
2 hours later another apple!.
I hit the gym for about 1h30 min!.
When i get home, i have half a grilled sirloin steak(without all the fat) or half a crab!.
Ussually before i go to bed, i drink a warm glass of milk!.
The key is drink lots of water!.
