Calories and weightloss question? What really works?!


Question: Calories and weightloss question!? What really works!?
I've heard so many different opinions on if counting calories works to lose weight!. I know the whole eating healthy thing, but I hear that if you eat less calories you go into starvation mode or something!. I really don't know what to believe anymore!. 1700 calories a day which is just under what I need to maintain my weight!. So what's going on with this calories thing!. Any feedback would be helpful!.

Everyone is different, but it's said that you need at to eat more than 1000 calories a day or your body will go into starvation mode!. The body requires a certain amount of calories (or energy) and nutrients each day!. If you eat less than 1000 calories, the body will see that it is not getting enough and will 'hold on' to fat and energy, releasing/burning at a slower rate!.
The amount of calorie intake depends on you age, gender and the amount of physical activity you do each day!.
If you want to lose weight you need to burn more calories than you take it!. If you want to maintain it, you should perhaps eat a little below the equivalent!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I assume you weight about 115 lbs!. Cut your calories by 500 a day and you will loose about 1 lb a week!. If you are eating healthy, drinking plenty of water, usually you can eat 1/3 less each meal and after a while you will loose weight!. Are you really overweight!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
