okay i weigh 295 pounds and I'm only 13 i want to live a healthy life style i have already had open heart surgery when i was three years old and i need to know what to do to resit food cravings can anyone help me pleaseWww@Answer-Health@Com

DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF< that will just take longer for u to lose weight, cuz since ur not getting enough energy from food, ur body has to store ur fat for energy, so it creates more fat!. Thus, u get fatter instead of just eatin enough and burning the calories which is a much faster and more effective way! DONT DO ANY PILLS, VIDEOS< OR CDS (losing weight doesnt have to cost money) OR ANY OTHER STUFF(SLIM FAST) YOU CAN STILL EAT GOOD FOODS, JUST IN MODERATION!. DONT LIMIT YOURSELF< IF YOU REALLY WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT HERES A GREAT PLAN THAT REALLY WORKS:
Every day do:
25 push ups
25 sit ups
15 leg lifts
Go riding a bike for 30-60 minutes
Walk to and from places if its possible to

Run a mile once a week
Swim twice a week for a half hour
FOOD:
Eat all three meals a day, just dont overfeed!.
Take your time when eating!.
If you want any snacks in between, eat celery/carrots or something healthy!.
No soda
WATER
When you want flavor badly, drink crystal light!.
For breakfast, have cereal or yoghurt!.
For lunch, have a salad or sanwich with whole wheat bread
For dinner, enjoy yourself, but dont pig out or have super unhealthy foods!.!.!.example:::fried chicken with a side of french fries and chocolate cake for dessert!!! UHH NOOO!!
NO ICE CREAM
Eat 1 hour after waking up(if u can) and 3 hours before u go to bed!.
Try to get 6 to 8 hours of sleep!. When your body is deprived of sleep your appiteite increases by 15%!.

NO POPCORN< CANDY
NO CHIPS
FRIED FOODS ONLY 1 time per week
NO COOKIES/cake
(WHEN I SAY NO blah blah blah,,, it means u can have it, but like 1 time per week or 2 weeks if you choose!.)
***SOME EXTRA TIPS:
Try to avoid white, bleached, or enriched flour!.
Stay away from high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils!.
Read food labels, often times they say stuff is "healthy" and it really isnt!. For instance, if u see that there is more than 20 grams of sugar in a candy bar, thats high so u should limit that candy bar to like 1 time per week! Get the point!?

Eat healthy and eat often!.!.
It sounds like you almost have a food addiction, so the first few days are going to be really hard and you're going to need help!. The first thing I recommend doing is getting rid of anything in the house that is useless nutritionally speaking!. For instance, chips, cookies, soda and processed foods like premade corn dogs, mac and cheese, anything fried and things of that nature!.
The hardest is the first three days as it's practically an addiction!. You'll probably get cranky and emotional and feel like you need to have fatty foods!. If you can just make it through three days of no fatty foods, you'll be on the right track!.
However, you will need healthy substitutes to be able to stick with it!. If you list what you usually eat in a day (honestly) and what times you eat it, then I'll help you find some healthy substitutions that are as similar in taste as possible!. Initially, don't worry about counting calories, the first couple weeks you should just focus on choosing a healthier option and then move on to portion control!.
Fatty foods are not always a 'no-no'!. I eat fast food once a week myself, but, when you're initially trying to get over the cravings, eating no fast food is the way to go!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

heres what i want you to do to resist food cravings - throw EVERY junk food away!. i mean all of it - all the ice cream, all the chips, all the pizza!.!.!.!.yeah you get my point!. eventually your cravings will go away!. also, when your hungry for something sweet, have some strawberries or something like that instead of ice cream or some other kind of junk food!.

Start trying to exersize more, and eat healthier!. you dont have to eat less, just eat healthier!. eat foods like celery and stuff!.
I suggest running for as long as you can on a treadmill, and eventually you'll get good at it, just go to the gym maybe 30 minutes - an hour atleast every day!.!.!.!.
drink lots of water! no soda! if you must have flavor use crystal light!.

ok the most important thing is like she said: don't eat within 3 hours of going to bed!. thats what helped me!. when you sleep, your body has no way of burning off the calories and fat!. go for walks or ride a bike!. walk on a treadmill with your ipod if you have access to a gym!. try to eat healty foods!. (u know what is and isnt healthy)
