Beginner with HIIT work out, need help with Heart Rate!?!

Question: Beginner with HIIT work out, need help with Heart Rate!!?
So I did my first HIgh intensity Interval training yesterday, and I wanted to go for the 1:2 ration, where I did 30 sec of high intensity, and 1 minute of recovery, but the problem is, in the one minute I have to recover, my heart rate doesnt go that much lower than my 90% of max heart rate which is about 175-180!. It goes to about 160, and then its time to kick into my high interval again!. AM I suppose to wait until my heart rate gets to 50%-60% of my max heart rate which is 126, or do I just not pay attention to it, and just go for time!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I would pay more attention to your hr than the times!. If your hr only drops to 90% of your max then you haven't recovered yet!. Either give yourself more time and let your hr get all the way down to recovery level or aim for a hr a little lower like 160 or 165 so that you can get down to your recovery hr within 1 min!. As you get accustomed to this type of training you'll find that your hr will respond to changes in intensity more quickly and you'll eventually be able to aim for 175!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
