1!. Running - We all know this cardio activity which is a great exercise for a flat belly!. The reason is that our stomach is naturally tucked in while we run (especially during sprinting) so that besides the benefit of calorie burning and fitness enhancement, your stomach muscles are also working in each second in which you run!. This means that your developing your abs muscles while you're running!.

2!. Swimming - When you're swimming, your stomach muscles are again working since you have to keep yourself balanced in the water!. Actually sit ups should be combined with other exercises that include working the transverse abdominals!. You need to work the transverse abdominals which are the muscles that help to support the abdomen!. If you do sit ups you must breathe out as you curl up otherwise you'll end up doing the opposite and making your stomach muscles more rounded!. There's some excellent information and "how to" exercises on www!.stomach-flattening-exercises!.com, including a page with free ebooks on precisely targetting the stomach area!. You might also like to try Pilates which is a really focused, more gentle way of building up your core strength muscle groups!. That site also has information about this!.

It all depends on what kind of shape your stomach is in already!. You have to have a significantly trim belly to even begin to think about toning it up!. So if you have some "belly fat" running is what i suggest!. It is literally impossible to target fat on a specific part of your body and lose it, but running or jogging will be an overall target!. However if you are pretty trim already and you just want to really tone and harden, I've heard Pilate's are good for the core! good luck! i really struggle with this stuff to!.!.!.lol :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

women have natural rounded tummy, i find it sexy!.
but some women do have fatter tummy, put something heavy on your legs, =( couple thick phone books ) and do 50 sit ups, 10 first 3 days, 20 for 3 days, until you are comfortable doing 50 maybe 25 in morning same in evening!.
another exercise is!. tense your tummy muscles and with closed fists, gently beat your tummy like a drumWww@Answer-Health@Com

The problem with abdominal fat is it is very resistant to just exercising the abdomen

You have to develop a plan to achieve overall fat loss

An aerobic exercise like swimming or HIIT are good

Also you need to go on a fat burning diet
