Answers:

The best way to lose weight is to keep up with your cardio, anything that gets your heart pumping. Speed walking on an incline is excellent, though you may want to throw in some jogging, too. If you're going to split up your cardio, I would shoot for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening for the better benefit. As for toning, light weight lifting with several reps. This won't make your muscles big and bulgey, just tone them up a bit and give your muscles some good definition. A light snack before bed will increase your metabolism, something simple like a bowl of cereal or some fruit. This keeps the metabolism in check and makes it work 24/7, which ultimately, with proper exercise toppled onto a proper diet, will increase the overall speed of your metabolism.

Also - little work-out tip. After you do your sit-ups, sit on the floor so that your legs are flat and your body is upright (L position) then lean your upper body half way back to the floor so that you're almost reclined. Grab your work-out ball and hold it in front of you with your arms straight, then slowly turn (almost as if twisting) your upper body only as far as you can to the right and then back to the left. Repeat this several times, will work your sides and other parts of your abs that sit-ups alone won't do. Once you're done with this, set your ball on the floor and sit on it, walk your feet forward and roll your back down the ball until just your shoulders are on the ball and your body is straight out, but knees bent to stabilize - bend your knees so that your bum goes down and almost touches the floor, and then back up, squeezing your buttox once you get back to the original position. This is great for the lower back muscles where love handles tend to develope. (Hopefully some of that made sense?) There are a few others that I could tell you, but they're rather difficult to describe, easier to show.
Hopefully this helps out in some way. Congratulations on the success you've had so far and best of luck getting to where you want to be!
