Healthy food?!

Question: Healthy food!?
what should i be eating everyday!? how much of it!? veg and fruit!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
5 portions minimum of different fruits and veg - so 2 apples is still only 1 portion!. The way I do is based on colour, like try and eat fruits and veg of all diff colours because then you're getting all the benifits!. Try fruits like blueberries (they are the best fruit for antioxidants), raspberries, cherries, strawberries, apples, pears, grapes etc as most of those are in season now so arent too expensive, and then greens so salads, broccoli and so on!.

Other food wise you need to make sure it is balanced and you are getting a little bit of everything so to speak - you need some good fats, carbs, protein!. Vary the meat you eat - chicken and turkey are healthy options and fish is really good!. Chose wholewheat breads and pasta instead of the white options, jacket potatoes, smoothies are a nice way of getting lots of fruit and they taste good!. Limit the amount of dairy you eat as that is quite high in fat and so whilst its good in moderation it isn't when you eat too much of it!. Swap to the lighter varieties of food aswell like lurpack lighter instead of butter for example as that saves a lot of calories without losing the taste!.

Also it is really important you are drinking enough water about 2 litres a day spread over the course of the day, and that can be in the form of squash if like me you find water can get a little dull when you have to drink so much of it!

Happy healthy eating :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com
