Am I gaining weight from fruit??!


Question: Am I gaining weight from fruit!?!?
I've been working at Jamba Juice for a while now!. Every time I work there I have the same thing!. I stay away from the smoothies with dairy, and stick to the all fruit ones that have Apple Strawberry juice, with the fruits being strawberries&bananas, or strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries!. Ever since I began working here I have gained weight though!. Is this related and how!?!?

I have also faced the same problem!. The thing is all these fruits contain a lot of glucose!. Glucose is something which needs no digestion and therefore our body has no control over the amount to be absorbed!. Almost all the glucose you take in reaches blood!. And as soon as the blood sugar level breaches a specific mark, the hormone insulin is released!. Insulin converts the glucose in blood to fat and deposits them where-ever they are!.

So you see how an extra amount of glucose gets deposited!. To avoid all this you should not take in tooo much of fruits!. Also, if you are drinking juices, drink them slowly, basically sip them!.!. slower than wine!. This will not increase your blood sugar level abruptly and will also keep you active!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, you will gain weight from fruits but not very much!. Weight can be gained more by other materials in food than fruits!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
