Alcohol consumption...How much is too much?!


Question: Alcohol consumption!.!.!.How much is too much!?
I have been keeping track of my drinking because I am currently on a 90 day exercise and meal plan!. Over the past 30 days I have drunk alcohol on 13 of those days!. I have anywhere from 3 - 6 or 7 drinks on one occasion!.
Does this seem excessive!?
Once I looked back over the 30 days I thought it seemed like a lot!.
I am 43 and want to lose about 10 more pounds!.
I am thinking that the alcohol may be hindering my results!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The calories in alcohol really add up! You would be surprised how many calories are in some of those yummy drinks!. I would definitely say that it is the alcohol that is holding you back from reaching your goal!. From a personal trainer's point of view, I would recommend alcohol consumption more than a couple times a month when you are trying to lose weight!.

2 units for a women which is a single large glass of wine, 3 units is too much for a man which is 1 pint of beer or one small shot of spirits!.

but bearing in mind u dont seem to be doing it too often (3 times a week is too often), then u should be fine, but i personally would stick to maybe 4 drinks each time and then drink plenty of water or eat something substantial - scrambled eggs are good for soaking up alcohol!Www@Answer-Health@Com

alcohol is full of simple sugars and starches which your body burns much easier than it does fat cells!.!. so if you are trying to lose weight give up the booze!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

More than 3 units is TOOO much!.
